To preserve our culture and history, another initiative that Religion and Culture Committee embarked upon is to create a documentary with detailed information about our Nine Nagara Temples.

Documentary Project

• Would you like to know more about the Nagarathar Temple you belong to?
• Have you ever not been able to answer questions from your children about Nagara temples?
• Have you ever been in a situation where you don't know the marriage match making rules within Nagaratharkovils?

Don't worry, we are here to help!

Some of the Information we are planning to capture in the documentary includes:

• Temple History
• Significance of the main deity
• Main festivals in the temple
• Kumbhabhisekam details
• Interesting story about the temple
• Old Video and pictures
• Current temple funding details

How you can Help?

Please support NSNA - Religion and Culture Committee's effort in capturing our history and culture for our future generations. Approximate cost of documentary for each temple would be $2,500. If each member belonging to that Nagara temple contributes a minimum of $25 it will greatly help in achieving the goal of documenting about that Nagara temple.
