Dear Fellow Nagarathars,
I am honored to be leading the NSNA for its next chapter in 2023 and 2024. As we look forward, we as a community must focus on striving for greater inclusivity (youth and gender diversity in leadership) while maintaining the values that have made Nagarathar culture so robust and integrity-centered in prior centuries. In doing so, we will prioritize elevating global Nagarathar charitable causes and providing a broader forum for dialogue, especially focused on our youth who represent the future. What follows are a few highlights of initiatives that we have set forth for the next two years:
It is with these efforts that I assert a call to action for our global NSNA community. No effort is too small or big, and with greater awareness, responsibility, and diligence we can preserve the heritage of this community and introduce new opportunities for growth and inclusion.
We have an excellent team in place to facilitate this growth over these next two years, and we are available and eager to hear your ideas, ambitions, and well wishes.
I like to thank the founders of the NSNA, Advisory Council, Chicago Team and all those who have come before us and built such a lively and connected community. It is our responsibility as a collective to now lay the foundation for the next generation's success.
Please reach out with any thoughts in the meantime, and we wish you happiness and success in everything you do.
Warmly,
Nagappan Sekkappan
